Contact lenses remove the waterfall

A new treatment for waterfall developed by a medical team of the University Hospital of Antuérpia, in Belgium, appears quite efficient against the ocular disease that reduces the vision and can lead to the blindness. The novelty is a new type of contact lens able to restore almost totally the sight of patients with waterfall and to avoid what the disease develops again, on the contrary of the traditional treatment where the patient was taking the risk of developing another waterfall of secondary type. The lenses will be marketed by the Hospital in partnership with a German enterprise. As lentes serão comercializadas pelo Hospital em parceria com uma empresa alemã.
